The MARSXpress 2.0™ digestion system brings not only a modern look and feel, but also flexibility and simplicity to laboratories that need reliable equipment for sample processing. Accurate non-contact temperature measurement is a prerequisite for successful wet combustion. The equipment has the capability to run not only large routine sample sets, but also individual samples, which may be necessary for method development work or in the case of single anomalous samples.

XpressStart methods are a simple way to start processing samples -> just select the running temperature you want on the control screen and press the start button – the run can begin.
The system detects the number of vessels in the run and adjusts the ramp time and microwave power on a case-by-case basis. So safety and efficiency first!

More information than ever
A visual indicator on the front panel of the device uses colour codes to tell you what is happening in the device at any given moment. So you can tell, for example from the other corner of the lab, what stage of the process you are at.
For more detailed information on the run, you can use the touch screen of the instrument itself: view the run data, check the temperature second by second and, at the end of the run, make sure that each sample has reached its target temperature and that the temperature has remained within the desired range.

Temperature control is a prerequisite for successful digestion
The MARSXpress 2.0 features non-contact iWave temperature measurement, which provides an actual temperature reading from inside each vessel in operation. The iWave sensor measures the sample in the tube, not the vessel wall, so it always provides real-time information on the sample temperature. Accurate temperature control is not only a prerequisite for successful driving, but also a clear safety factor.
At the end of the run, MarsXpress 2.0 automatically cools the samples to a pre-set temperature, allowing the tubes to be removed from the equipment safely and without unnecessary delays.
An on-board pressure differential sensor ensures an appropriate air flow to efficiently post any acid fumes to the ventilation duct. The system will give a warning if the required conditions are not achieved.
MARSXpress 2.0 uses exclusively the industry-leading MARSXpress family of vessels. The keystone of the MARSXpress 2.0 system is a range of containers that are easy to use, easy to assemble and deliver reliable handling every time. Load 1, 2, 3 … 40 samples in one batch.
