ICP-OES is a versatile method for determining element concentration in any sample. Below is a short list of hermo iCAP PRO ICP-OES features

More than 70 elements can be measured
The typical measuring time is 1–2 minutes per sample. The measurement speed can be increased to the desired level.
Typically, only one solution is made of the sample, of which all elements are measured at the same time regardless of concentration.
Fully automated measurements
The sample volume required ranges from ca. 2 to 6 ml

iCAP PRO ICP-OES systems are cost-efficient and reliable systems for trace elemental analysis. The iCAP PRO has a range of 167 – 852 nm, allowing you to measure more than 70 elements If they so wish, the user can measure elements using multiple frequencies and reporting all of them at the same time or select some for reporting. You can choose the most suitable model out of the options available.

The detection limits of Thermo iCAP PRO ICP-OES models are the same with the same measurement configuration. The models are different in terms of measuring methods available, the available accessories and the measuring rate, among other features. All models have a Radial and a Duo version available.

At the hear of each Thermo iCAP PRO model, there is the unique CID detector in which each pixel functions as an independent integrator. This allows for both low and high concentrations to be measured simultaneously, accurately and repeatably, without interference. The CID also enables unique constellation imaging, which creates an individual fingerprint image of any sample.

Applications

iCAP PRO ICP-OES is a versatile system than can be used for measuring almost any sample. The samples are primarily in solution form. Solid samples are typically processed via digestion, turning them into solutions.
