The Malvern OMNISEC GPC/SEC system is an ideal GPC/SEC chromatography solution that includes the system, detectors and software.

OMNISEC is the most sensitive and accurate multidetector GPC/SEC system for analysing synthetic and natural polymers and proteins.

With OMNISEC, you can accurately determine the following parameters, for example:

• absolute molecular weight
• molecular weight and distribution
• intrinsic viscosity
• sample concentration
• and many others.

The OMNISEC system consists of three components:

OMNISEC Resolve

OMNISEC Resolve combines an integrated pump, degasser, autosampler and column oven.

• The low-pulsation isocratic pump is ideal for SEC separation
  • Improved resolution

• Injection repeatability 0.2%
• Temperature-controlled autosampler
  • Cooling for easily degradable samples
  • Heating to reduce sample viscosity (such as samples in DMSO)
• Injections from vials or 96-well/384-well microtiter plates
• Smaller and more effective degasser – makes it quicker to switch and stabilise solvents
• High-volume column oven with precise temperature control
  • The oven can fit 6 SEC columns or
  • 1 vertical GE Tricorn 300/10 column

• The low-volume gas extractor accelerates moving phase transition.
• The inert pressure sensors on the viscometer function in and withstand a wide pH range.
• Temperature adjustment reduces back pressure
• The user can change the capillary module on the viscometer themselves, which saves time and money spent on maintenance
• The integrated pump cleaning system slows down the wear on the seals
