The Thermo MagnaRay WDS detector is revolutionising WDS measuring. The detector automates time-consuming steps. The three-way engine, autofocus and automatic crystal selection and adjustment do not require action from the user. With the NS7 analyser, MagnaRay works fully together with a EDS detector. EDS measurements are now possible with NS7 automatically running the points that include overlapping peaks, without the user having to intervene at all. MagnaRay’s measuring range is 1.47 eV–17.9 keV
